This month, SEASPAR is thrilled to shine the Spotlight on Maggie Long, a participant who truly embodies the spirit of adventure, style, and friendship!
Maggie has been a cornerstone of Cooking with SEASPAR since its inception, proving her skills as one of the program’s finest choppers. Her dedication to mastering her culinary craft is just one of the many reasons she’s a standout.
At Timber Pointe Outdoor Camp this year, Maggie tackled her fears head-on, taking on both the zipline and the giant swing for the very first time. Her bravery inspired everyone around her and reminded us all of the power of trying something new.
But Maggie doesn’t just conquer challenges—she does it with flair! Known for her love of sunglasses, Maggie confidently sports her signature look indoors and out, radiating coolness wherever she walks.
One of the most memorable things about Maggie from camp was her special bond with her best friend, Makenzie. The dynamic duo stuck together through every activity, with Makenzie making sure Maggie was up and ready to take on the day—even when Maggie preferred to sleep in. Their friendship is a testament to the incredible connections that SEASPAR programs foster.
And let’s talk about Maggie’s eclectic music taste! From pop hits to timeless classics, her iPod playlist has a little bit of everything. Whatever your favorite genre, there’s a good chance Maggie’s got it covered.
Congratulations to Maggie Long, our December Spotlight recipient! Your enthusiasm, courage, and stylish spirit brighten all of the SEASPAR programs you attend.
