Three hundred people were in attendance at SEASPAR’s annual “Believe and Achieve” Banquet, recently held at Abbington Banquets.         The SEASPAR EAGLES were named 2013 Volunteers of the Year from the Downers Grove Park District. The EAGLES helped all summer assisting with mulching and other tasks in some of the parks. EAGLES participants Diana P. and Jason C. are pictured accepting the award on April 8.

Special Olympics invited one SEASPAR athlete and a staff to go to the WWE Raw event at the Allstate Arena on March 3. On February 22, SEASPAR co hosted with LCSRA its Fourth Annual Metro Boccia Cup at the Park District of LaGrange. This year's competition saw 49 athletes competing in four classifications.
